Temperature stability allows FFKM O-rings to function continuously at 500°F to 600°F depending on compound formulation. Low-temperature flexibility extends to minus 40°F or lower in specialized grades. This broad temperature range exceeds fluorocarbon (FKM) and other elastomers significantly. Thermal cycling between extremes does not compromise sealing effectiveness or cause cracking.
